Use Qanoon offline
Qanoon can be installed as a Progressive Web App. After a successful first online visit and download of the law bundle, supported browsers can keep the app shell and reference data on the device.
Getting started
- Open Qanoon in a supported browser over HTTPS.
- Choose Install when your browser offers it, or use the browser menu’s “Add to Home Screen” option.
- Open the offline manager and allow the law bundle to finish downloading while online.
- Reopen the app without a connection to read and search the data retained by your browser.
Storage and updates
Offline access depends on browser storage, device settings and successful completion of the initial download. Clearing site data removes the local copy. New laws and bundle updates require an internet connection. Not every browser exposes the same install or storage controls.
